Layered brushstrokes in red, black and white dominate the composition, broken by ochre, pink and grey passages. Loose scribbles and dark mark-making sit over broad painterly fields, with scattered paint splatters adding texture. Contrast is high, edges are gestural and unresolved, and colour is applied in bold, overlapping blocks.
