Loose gestural marks layer across a pale ground, mixing charcoal scribbles, black brushstrokes and patches of ochre, blue-grey and magenta. Fragmented letterforms and thin drips run through the composition, with splatters and pencil lines adding texture. Colour sits in irregular blocks, creating a busy, non-representational surface with varied contrast and energetic mark-making.
